How can we use utilize technology to create a remote platform that will let user book gaming cafes?
This was a problem I faced in near 2018-19 when I was in collage and used to go to play games to nearest cafe.
And mostly we used to stay in line for hours sometimes just to get our desired system.
People have to stay in line or sometimes have to withdraw their plan fully to get a system to book for gaming for wither themself or with their friends.
So to start with
I have decided to keep the starting position for the user from Map and show them cyber cafes they can visit near them,
And asking for the user’s location permission first
From that user, either can go directly to the Caffe details page if they choose
where they wanna go or if the user wants to access other options he can get directed to the home page from the map menu.
For the cafe description page, I decided to mention the following information:
location, timing, ratings, photos in carousel and name,
how many seats are available, amenities, and call to action book now button.
See and share updates with other Homemore users in the community and assist one another
Costomer needs to be in line to get his desirable system
Not getting enough systems free for you and your friends and also not getting desirable system configuration.
Cafe owner getting bombarded by costomers calls
Fully interactive Prototype
I interviewed individuals I had visited cybercafes with to play competitive sports. Additionally, I interviewed some friends of friends and cafe owners to gain insight into the flow of the cafes.
I learned more about the challenges they faced and their experiences. I asked them questions to find out more about their pain points.
Do you go to Cyber cafes regularly?
How would you characterize your experience overall?
Was there anything that bothered you on a regular basis?
What was the biggest challenge you faced while going to play with your friends?
I learned that 4 out of 6 people were dissatisfied with the wait in line and the lack of clear information regarding when they would be able to play.
Through my research, I discovered that users often knew where they wanted to go and play, Therefore, in this app idea, the focus was not on optimizing search results. Instead, I decided to include a map that shows cybercafes in the area.
I started out with Interviews.
So, individuals I had visited cybercafes with to play competitive sports, Additionally I interviews some friends of friends and the cafe owners,
I also stop by the cafe multiple times whenever I am in town to talk to strangers waiting outsite or playing the games.
My process for this specific project was like creating paper wireframes and also creating lo-fi design on softwere alongside brainstroming.

An easy-to-navigate Filter menu is accessible through the icon button in the right bottom corner,
For the cafe description page, I decided to mention the following information:
location, timing, ratings, photos in carousel and name,
how many seats are available, amenities, and call to action book now button.
it’s like almost all the information user needs to book a cafe for him and his friends according to the research.
from this page and by clicking on the (COD) button user will get directed to the booking flow where he will be able to put his reservation details like time and system.
I have created an interactive seamless flow for booking the cybercafe,
Directing user through 3 step process to fill the essential information.
Directing users through filling the information with as few taps as possible and eye-pleasing interaction.
For this project, I followed the UX design processes taught in the Google certification UX design specialization course. However, I only utilized the methods that were necessary for the project at hand.
I worked on the project independently and realized midway that it wasn't the best one I could complete as it didn't address an existing real-world problem. This made research challenging, but I decided to finish the project as I wanted to continue with the Google certification course.
Despite its limitations, this project taught me valuable lessons that I can apply to my UX journey and helped me gain a deeper understanding of the UX design process.
